## The First Look: Unveiling the Sovryn User Interface Prototypes

In Community Call #5, the Sovryn team provided the community with its very first glimpse of the product in action. The session was a design-focused walkthrough of the early **prototypes and mockups for the Sovryn user interface (UI)**. This was a crucial step in translating the abstract technical concepts of the protocol into a tangible user experience.

### From Code to a Usable Product

The presentation was a bridge between the complex world of smart contracts and the end-user. The design team showcased their vision for how users would interact with Sovryn’s core features in a simple and intuitive way. The goal was to create an interface that was powerful enough for experienced DeFi traders, yet accessible to users who might be new to decentralized applications.

### A Tour of the Sovryn dApp

The team walked through the key screens and user flows:

* **The Swap Page:** A clean and simple interface for exchanging one asset for another, providing clear information on price, slippage, and fees.
* **The Lending Page:** A dashboard where users could deposit their assets into lending pools, see the current interest rates (APY), and track their earnings in real-time.
* **The Margin Trading Interface:** A more advanced interface for opening leveraged long and short positions, with clear visualizations of collateral, leverage, and liquidation prices.
* **The Portfolio Page:** A unified view where users could see all of their assets, open positions, and pending rewards in one place.

### A Call for Community Feedback

This was not just a one-way presentation. The primary goal of sharing these early designs was to gather **feedback from the community**. The team actively solicited opinions on the layout, the clarity of the information, and the overall user flow. This collaborative approach to design, starting from the earliest stages, was a demonstration of the project’s commitment to building a product that its users would love.

This early look at the UI was a significant milestone, making the promise of DeFi on Bitcoin feel much more real and tangible for the growing Sovryn community.
